Why is plastic surgery so endemic in our culture?

Image and Style are two driving forces in our culture. I’m not suggesting that a facelift should be viewed as a fashion accessory, but we are a body conscious society. People have the opportunity to alter their bodies in an easy, safe and effective way. We’ve come a long way from 20 years ago.
