| Online jewelry boutique, Charm & Chain, celebrated their first anniversary with a cocktail party at Paris Commune on November 18th. The site’s collection of designers includes more than thirty artists from all parts of the globe, with a mix of established and emerging brands from Erickson Beamon and Alexis Bittar to Fallon/Fenton and Fiona Paxton. Many well known costume jewelry designers came out to toast founder Alexandra "Ali" Galgano's first year in business, including Gerard Yosca, Tuleste Market sisters Satu and Celeste Greenberg, and Rachel Blumenthal of Rachel Leigh. Others in attendance were Susan Kaufman, Caroline Tell and Beth Thomas Cohen. Looking stunning in a black and pink “Vintage from the 80’s” Oscar de la Renta cocktail dress and jewelry from Tuleste Market's vintage inspired collection, founder Ali Galgano certainly has a lot to celebrate. For the record, she’s in her early twenties, so yes, the 80s do count as vintage. But please don’t let her age or beaming smile and blond hair fool you, this young lady is quite the impressive entrepreneur who has created a thriving business. |
