After five minutes you can pretend to be in Paris on the Left Bank. Moving along the charming, quirky streets that are so full of charm, your spirits will lift. This area retains its unspoiled charm. Swarms of attractive young people clad in skinny jeans and black boots populate the streets and visit the quirky shops. |

These chic handbags are so original and unique that they always merit attention. Whether patched, beaded or embroidered, they are novel and attention-grabbers. Some are made of exotic skins, others are raffia, and some are metallic. The selection of white-on-white bags will be perfect if the sun shines and summer really arrives. Shops with names like Trust Fund Baby and Soho Baby are unique and original, with bold, bright selections that will appeal as much to mothers as to children Imaginative rain wear, slippers, bibs, tee-shirts will appeal to every generation along with a great selection of toys and dolls, tempting doting grand mothers as well. This beats department store shopping every time. The owners of these adorable shops have unique visions and very special merchandise. |

Try Fanny K’s for bohemian, delicate necklaces and wraparound white shirts. Hit Tory Burch’s cheery emporium for the newly arrived pre-fall collection or for terry tunics and the shortest of shorts. Find sandals and shoes in sorbet summer colors or tote bags in prints that will brighten your day. |
