Spring into Summer - A Private Trunk Show

| On Tuesday, Alice Judelson opened her art filled, east side townhouse to host a private, multi-designer springtime trunk show. Our beautiful hostesses, Alice Judelson, Jane Holzer, Hilary Dick, and Flo Fulton were a warm reminder that summer is just around the corner. They wore lovely and bright scarves, caftans, jewelry and ponchos. All were perfect for a trip to St. Tropez or a summer in the Hamptons, making us all forget that outside there is still a chill in the air. Luckily, it is never too early to stock up! The designers were all quite unique and complimentary to each other and absolutely lovely and fascinating women. |

| Courtney Moss from Glamourpuss NYC was there with her new Spring/Summer collection. Of course there is nobody better to model the new collection than Courtney herself, looking glamourous in her Water Lilly caftan and layers of pearl and silk necklaces. The collection consists of everything you will need for summer ranging from ponchos, caftans, skirts, tops, handbags, belts, scarves and jewelry all thoughtfully designed to be multifunctional yet lots of fun. I remember when Courtney Moss and Gigi Mortimer first launched Glamourpuss in 2009! Their Original Glamourpuss Fur Funnel in "golden" has gotten me through each winter ever since! It is amazing to see how much they have done with the brand in just a few short years. Suzan Lee Paek, Founder and Creative Director of Jessica Grant Handbags flew in from California to be a part of the event. Her elegant collection of exotic skin handbags was quite impressive. In an array of colors, these fashionable yet durable and functionable handbags truly are "wearable art." I have a feeling we will be seeing a lot of these bags on Park Avenue this spring and summer. |

| Mzia Bekuraidze of ZIA Couture was there with Deborah Fenker showing off her line of beautiful shawls and wraps. I had first read about these special handmade pieces a few weeks ago in Anita Sarko's Shopping Diary piece. It was truly a delight to get to see and touch them in person! Jules Reid was there with her resort label of the same name. Her collection was a mix of bold patterns and bright colors in styles that were relaxed and easy to wear. I loved how versatile her Spring line is. Wear one of her candy-colored, eye-popping dresses with flats for a day of shopping in Southampton or with a colorful pair of Manolos for a luncheon or charity event. |

| Jewelry designer Alexandra Moosally (also featured here) had the perfect compliment to any outfit. Her delicate and ultra feminine jewelry line works perfectly with any of these summer looks. Her jewelry is now available at Barneys and ABC Carpet and Home so you can pick a little something up for yourself too. Everyone had a fabulous time shopping and sipping wine and champagne and enjoying snacks that ranged from fried chicken to oysters. Of course, conversation naturally drifted to summer plans and vacations. While many of us are still finalizing travel arrangements, there is one thing we all know for certain: exactly what to wear! |
