| On a recent Spring day, a crowd of smiling mothers and children flocked to the West Village's Industria Studios to view the new Collection of Designer Bonnie Young and frolic at the After-Party. The occasion was sponsored by Bambini (the tres chic Italian children's fashion magazine), and featured tiny cupcakes by Baked By Melissa, assembled into an edible sculpture reading "Petite." |

| The delightful show presented adorable children ambling their way down a faux snow-laden-runway wearing lovely white and colorful ensembles, accessorized with oversized snow boots. At a time, when all too frequently children are "sexualized" by being prompted to wear inappropriate adult gear, it is refreshing to see a designer whose fashions enhance childhood, instead of pushing wee ones away from it. |
