Last week, Animal Fair celebrated its 11th Annual Paws for Style Benefit party and runway show. Hosted by Wendy Diamond and her dog, Lucky, the party was at the rooftop penthouse at Ink 48 Hotel.

The glamorous guest list included lots of Doggy Divas who certainly were “paw”parazzi ready. And that’s a good thing, because camera crews from Bravo were taping the event for its new show, Mad Fashion.

The highlight of the night was the fashion show, where celebrities and models walked the runway alongside their four-legged friends to show off one-of-a-kind matching designer outfits made especially for the event. Favorite doggy duds included a Maggie Norris ballerina tutu, a bridal dress by Michelle Roth, and a colorful, flowered 50’s design “Wonder Dog” outfit by Chris March. All of the designer outfits will be available on eBay for purchase. Best of all, 100 percent of proceeds will benefit the Humane Society of New York.

L. to r.: Designer Henry Weinreich Roth holding Lucky with model wearing original Michelle Roth bridal design, reminiscent of the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton’s historic dress, estimated at $3,000.00 ... Countess Luann with Toby wearing Teri Jon outfit ... Lisa Oz and dog Rosie wearing Nanette Lepore.

Many of the dogs walking the catwalk were from the Humane Society and available for adoption. Dressed in matching Teri Jon ensembles, Real Housewives star LuAnn de Lesseps adopted her K-9 counterpart, Toby, during the party.

While lapping up treats and attentions, the dogs couldn’t have been happier or looked cuter. But, Wendy Diamond cautiously reminds us as animal lovers, to only dress up your pet for special occasions, “I want people to know it’s unhealthy for dogs to always be dressed.” So if you win the eBay auction, save your newly purchased designer outfits for a birthday, a wedding, or another special event ... such as next year’s Paws for Style.
