Transitioning your wardrobe from one season to another is always a project. Whether it is changing closets, getting clothes out of or back into storage, or shopping for those new must-have style pieces that will make you feel fresh and a la mode.

Recently, at the Carlisle Showroom in Greenwich Connecticut, Cristin Marandino, editor of Greenwich magazine, hosted an event and fashion show called “How to Transition Your Wardrobe From Spring to Summer.”

Cocktails and hors’ d’ouevres were served as Cristin and her Fashion Editor, Carisha Swanson joined with Carlisle’s Director of Merchandising, LuAnn Sampson to walk guests through the must-have additions for their Summer Wardrobes.

The new Summer collection offers fashions in the chicest shades under the sun; perfect additions to any woman’s wardrobe that will take them from the city to the shore and beyond to wherever their summer travels take them.

The colors of Summer are crisp and cool with shots of hot. Breezy Blue: A light, airy sky and the perfect partner for white. Lemongrass: A yellow-green that’s crisp, clean and bright. Coral Reef: a reddish-coral seen through sunlit waters at sunset.

Carlisle’s Dreamgirl quintessential party dress with not one, but two, organza underlinings and hand-cut embroidery that will bring out the inner princess in every woman. The Carlisle Wasabi Vest and straight skirt in Lemongrass and Black – Sure to make a statement at any summer shindig.

Sunwashed earthtones: Artichoke, Dijon, and desert tan are summer neutrals that can be plugged-in anywhere, everywhere, and often.

Per Se’s Sundance linen jewelneck jacket with allover French Vanilla embroidery and lined with silk organza.

White Hot – The Sexy Summer Pantsuit: Per Se’s Tonic pantsuit in white linen can be split to mix and marry again and again.

Or choose Carlisle’s Casablanca stretch cotton twill jacket to match with the Casablanca tapered-leg pant or the A-line skirt with silver chain detailing at the waist.

Tribal Council: For deliciously primal pieces, choose Per Se’s Pictograph abstract safari-print washed silk capris paired with the Godiva coco halter-top or Per Se’s Safari abstract animal collage skirt with grosgrain ribbon sash.

Top Spins – Baubles, Bangles & Beads: Turn the ordinary into extraordinary with the Per Se black Pearls sleeveless top with pearl bead trim or the Lalique white sleeveless top with bead and cut crystal detail on the front.

Costume Drama – A Little Embellishment: Add edgy riffs of embroidery and appliqué with the Per Se Tempo circle-appliquéd cardigan twinset or choose the killer Tapioca jeans with leopard skin beading.
