Carlisle kicks off Greenwich Hospital's Great Chefs

| On February 10th the women behind Greenwich Hospital's Great Chefs event gathered at the Greenwich, CT Carlisle showroom for a fashion luncheon custom-designed and presented by Daniel Boulud's kitchen. The luncheon was prepared on site at the showroom as a thank you from Daniel for selecting and honoring him at the upcoming March 4th Great Chefs event. It was the perfect cold day in February to shake off the winter doldrums and start dreaming and planning for a colorful and vibrant spring. Luann Sampson, Carlisle's Director of Merchandising, presented the must-have looks for spring while the chairwomen of the Great Chef's committee including Kim Blank, Melissa Levien, Amanda Tapiero as well as Stephanie Dunn Ashley, the head of special events for the hospital, walked the catwalk showcasing their personal favorites. |

| Attendees enjoyed Les Amuse Bouches including Gougères with Comté and Parmesan, Tuna Tartar in a Japanese Cucumber Cup, Smoked Salmon and Quail Egg on a Toasted Brioche and Curried Chicken Tartlet with Apple, Almond and Coconut. This was followed by a menu of Wild Mushroom Tourte with sage, arugula, mâche and frisée To top things off with style, Daniel's staff prepared Spice Poached Bosc Pear and Gingerbread Biscuits, along with Red Wine Gelée and Ginger Ice Cream. |

The food and the fashion were over the top with champagne and wine paired with a delectible menu. Women saved time to slip into the spacious dressing rooms to try on a number of amazing looks with the assistance of the Carlisle showroom wardrobe stylists. |

| To add to the charity element Carlisle offered that all purchases made by the Great Chefs committee members anytime during the next 30 days would have 20% go to directly support the Great Chefs cause -- Community Health at Greenwich Hospital. Carlisle is proud to be a sponsor of the Great Chefs event which will take place on Friday, March 4 at the Hyatt Regency in Old Greenwich to benefit Community Healthy at Greenwich Hospital. Community Health at Greenwich Hospital offers educational programs, healthcare screenings and support groups to approximately 30,000 Connecticut and New York residents a year. |

| Guests at the Great Chef's event will enjoy an evening of dancing and dining featuring selections from more than 70 restaurants, catering companies and wine distributors in Connecticut and New York. The festivities begin at 6:30 p.m. This year Scott Marz will provide the entertainment and French chef Daniel Boulud will be honored. Boulud is a much loved chef who has acclaimed restaurants in New York and around the world. |
