J.McLaughlin hosts “preppy guru” Lisa Birnbach at the New Canaan Library

Last Thursday, J.McLaughlin hosted a holiday fashion show and book signing at the New Canaan Library with “preppy guru” Lisa Birnbach, author of the new book True Prep It’s a Whole New World. Models were dressed in classic J.McLaughlin looks perfect for holidays in the country or the city. Birnbach added her own commentary to each outfit leaving the audience in stitches. Guests traveled from near and far to this event in New Canaan with vintage Preppy Handbooks in tow, eager to have Birnbach inscribe them with her words of prep wisdom.
