Catherine Zeta Jones: Picture Perfect in Maggie Norris
Catherine Zeta Jones wowed the red carpet in a black, silk chiffon dress, with a sculpted bodice and a draped back bustled with silk velvet ribbon and a silk tulle ruffle at the hem, designed by NYSD Shopping Diary designer Maggie Norris. Norris calls it her Caron Gown. Jones accessorized it with dramatic red earrings and a black clutch.
The Oscar and Tony-winning star arrived holding hands with her husband Oscar-winner Michael Douglas who stars in Oliver Stone’s Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps, which was premiering. Douglas was all smiles and looked robust despite his ongoing battle with throat cancer.
Other stars of the film walking the red carpet were Shia LaBeouf, Carey Mulligan, in Nina Ricci, Josh Brolin, Frank Langella and Susan Sarandon in a Donna Karan pre-fall 2010 golden, asymmetrical dress with cutouts.
And minutes before the curtain went up, Courtney Love appeared wearing a red Old Hollywood-style gown by Calvin Klein. She worked the red carpet looking gorgeous. Although, some said she was too skinny. Not in this town!
