| Meanwhile out in the Hamptons, there were all kinds of things going on, and around New York Housewives’ Sonja Tremont-Morgan, it was a weekend affair. On Friday night, beginning with cocktails at 10 pm, followed by a light supper, at Lily Pond, Sonja and R. Couri Hay hosted a “Salute to American Friends of Blerancourt. Saturday began with a tea at the home of Lauren Day Roberts in Southampton. Called an “après-beach” (what, no plage?) “tete-a-tete” with Italian “exotic handbag designer” Francesco Santoro, they launched Santoro’s “Sonja” Clutch and Tote. |

| A percentage of the proceeds of the sale benefited The American Friends of Blerancourt Franco-American Museum, the former home of Anne Morgan, the youngest child of J. Pierpont Morgan, an organization that Sonja got involved in when she was married to her former husband John Morgan, a direct descendent of Ms. Morgan. More than 100 guests attended the staged reading including George Lancaster and Libby Cagle, Gardner Landry, Don Hooper and Rachel Palmer, sculptor David Graeve, Anita Garten, Sallymoon Bentz and Alan Bentz, Mary Tyler Moore, Beth Wolff and Alan Reid, and Edward Wolff. |
