Award winning jewelry designer Tom Castor, will present his one-of-a kind collection and limited edition of fine jewelry at Optional Art • Nikki Sedacca in Edgartown, Massachusetts, Friday, August 27th through Sunday, August 29th from 10 am to 9 pm.
Castor is a highly recognized jeweler whose work has been featured in various magazines such as Town & Country as well as in museums like The James A. Michener Museum, Pennsylvania.
For over thirty years, he has been designing unique platinum and 18k gold pieces. He uses ancient techniques to bestow an artisan look and feel to each design. Castor gets his inspiration by traveling around the world where he hand-selects his gems and pearls.
Castor is an advocate of environmental preservation. One of his many responsible business practices is the recycling of precious metals, not only for use in his designs but also in reworking customer’s own outdated or unusable jewelry to create new wearable pieces. Other raw materials utilized are sourced from suppliers who have a strict policy regarding environmental and social standards.
