| Douglas Hannant will be having his Fall 2010 trunk show at The Plaza from May 17 through May 22 and you are invited. Be the first to pre-order the collection, which will be delivered in August and September. The trunk show is also a unique opportunity to custom order items to specific measurements and fabrics that might not be available in store’s fall merchandise. Douglas Hannant’s Fall 2010 collection is influenced by graffiti art and in particular, the Jean-Michel Basquiat inspired works of Nicolas Pol that he saw at a show curated by Vladimir Restoin-Roitfeld. By using the graffiti style in a new and restrained way that does not overtake the collection, Hannant is “bringing the feeling of New York’s Alphabet City in the 1980s to Park Avenue.” And Douglas Hannant is certainly a favorite of Park Avenue, and has been for over a decade. His 800-square foot retail boutique opened on the first floor of The Plaza late last summer and we couldn’t be more ecstatic. |
